The Quickfencer speeds up
the fixing of a wire fence tremendously. A typical fence installation works as follows:
- Once all the strainers are in position, fix wire to the first strainer.
- Drive forward or reverse unrolling the wire at 5 mph.
- Once past the second strainer, lift the spring bolt, allowing the machine to clamp up.
- Draw forward or reverse until the desired tension is achieved.
- Fix the wire to the strainer, then lift the spring bolt and move onto the next strainer.
